Postdoctoral Positions at Florida State University and MagLab

Postdoctoral Positions in the Ramamoorthy Lab at Florida State University, MagLab (Tallahassee, USA)

The Ramamoorthy lab at the MagLab (NHMFL) and FSU has openings for postdoctoral positions that are available immediately.

The candidate should have excellent background in biological research and experience in working with bimolecular NMR spectroscopy and/or protein structural biophysics. Please contact me (aramamoorthy@fsu.edu) for more information and to complete the application.

Experience in the development of solid-state NMR spectroscopy and biological studies on membrane proteins are desirable.

The successful candidate(s) will participate in the following NIH-funded projects.

1) Biophysical and NMR studies of protein aggregation, biocondensation, amyloid fibrils, and LLPS.

2) Structural studies of membrane proteins including GPCRs and cytochrome-P450s.

3) Development and applications of nanodiscs.

General Information

Our group is equipped with biophysical instruments and has access to structural biology/biophysics center at the Institute of Molecular Biophysics at FSU. We also have access to state-of-the-art solid-state NMR spectrometers (300, 400, 500, 600s, 800s, 1500 MHz) with DNP and fast-MAS facilities at the NSF-funded MagLab (NHMFL).
