Postdoctoral Positions in Experimental Quantum Science and Dynamic Nuclear Polarization at Dartmouth

Applications are invited for two full-time postdoctoral research positions in the group of Professor Chandrasekhar Ramanathan at Dartmouth to work on the following projects.

  1. Using nanoscale magnetic resonance – including both electron spin resonance and optically detected magnetic resonance – to study many-body dynamics of dipolar-coupled electron spins in diamond (and potentially other materials).

  1. Dynamic nuclear polarization of spins in and around diamond at 3.35 T and 7 T .

A combination of strong experimental and theoretical skills is highly desirable, as is the ability to work across disciplinary boundaries.   Please contact Professor Ramanathan (email: Chandrasekhar.Ramanathan@dartmouth.edu) for more information and to submit an application.  Consideration of candidates will start immediately and will continue until the positions are filled.
