PhD fellowship: Development of pulsed DNP and EPR Methods

PhD fellowship: Development of pulsed DNP and EPR Methods

A 3-year PhD-student position is available in development of multiple-pulse methods for dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). The project is focused on spin engineering and method development, and the aim is development of experiments which can be combined with high-field solid-state NMR for biological, materials science and quantum information applications.

The PhD project will be carried out in the group of Prof. Niels Chr. Nielsen at the Danish Center for Ultrahigh-Field NMR spectroscopy. The center is housed at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) at Aarhus University. The position is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation NERD program within new exploratory research and discovery areas.

The application deadline is August 1, 2023, and the intended start of the PhD period is November 1, 2023 (or as soon as possible).
