We seek a postdoctoral fellow to participate in a collaborative project on the application of ultra-high field NMR (1.0 GHz and higher) for investigating disordered proteins. The position will be based in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biophysics at UConn Health in Farmington, CT.
A Ph.D. or equivalent in biochemical or physical sciences, or related disciplines, is required. Desirable skill sets include familiarity with modern protein NMR, protein structure, and protein dynamics. Familiarity with data standards and databases, molecular modeling, and NMR data processing and analysis for biomolecules is also desirable.
The position is affiliated with NMRbox (nmrbox.org), BMRB (bmrb.io), and NAN (usnan.org) and a rich set of computational resources, NMR instruments spanning 400 to 800 MHz, and access to 1.1 GHz instruments through the NAN collaboration.
