Drs. Susie Huang and Yi-Fen Yen are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join their labs at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging in the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School. Candidates with a PhD and research experience in MR physics, MR pulse sequence design, MRI system hardware, and/or RF coil design are encouraged to apply. This postdoc will have a special opportunity to join two research projects:
1. Connectome 2.0 led by Dr. Susie Huang
To develop a next-generation ultra-high gradient strength human MRI scanner for bridging studies of the micro-, meso- and macro-connectome.
2. Hyper-PET led by Dr. Yi-Fen Yen
To develop simultaneous hyperpolarized imaging and positron emission tomography (PET) for comprehensive metabolic imaging research in animal model and human.
Experience in areas specifically related to hyperpolarized metabolic imaging or Connectome projects is a plus but not required. We offer superb training and mentorship in a friendly and fast-paced research environment. The opportunity for career growth is enormous.
The position is available starting immediately. A two-year time commitment is required. Please contact Dr. Yi-Fen Yen (yyen1@mgh.harvard.edu).
